Limited Masterworks 2015 Semper Vase Opulent Flower Painting

The "Sempervase Reiche Blumenmalerei" serving for decoration was designed by architect and art historian Gottfried Semper from 1836. The hand-painted decorated vase was first presented at the London World's Fair in 1851. The hand-painted decoration of the vase shows two magnificent summer bouquets on the front and back. They truly look like they have just been freshly picked from the garden, thanks to the large applied traditional flower painting. The red background of the limited edition porcelain piece emphasizes the warm summer mood. It forms the decorative basis for noble gilding, which effectively accentuates the magnificent piece.
