Limited Masterworks Wall Painting, Oleander

Since the Baroque period, the genre of MEISSEN^® flower painting has formed various styles. The "naturalistic" painting style conquered porcelain since the 19th century and depicts flowers in their infinite, varied naturalness also on murals and paintings. Within this style, another style of painting developed, which was based on the painting style of the Impressionists. Julius Eduard Braunsdorf was a leading figure in this style, and his decorations have gone down in the history of the manufactory as "Braunsdorf flower painting". The nuanced depiction of the oleander in the painting with its numerous mixed tones is hand-painted from the infinite variety of the MEISSEN^® color palette.
