description
The decoration of a service designed by Johann Friedrich Eberlein for Friedrich August von Brandenstein around 1741 resembled a fine wickerwork. Under the name "Neubrandenstein" it was varied in 1744 with curved parting lines in the rococo style, hand-painted and limited, in a wonderful tea dejeuner. It consists of two cups with saucers, two dinner plates, sugar bowl, milk as well as coffee pot and accompanying serving tray. With the pen artist Anett Gerner conjures butterflies and flowers, hand-painted, on the work of art. In the process, the stroke width varies deliberately to make the painting lively and full of character. Compactly laid out with copper colors, the leaf shapes form a successful contrast on the tea dejeuner, limited. A yellow base makes the background of the fantastic artwork 's sunny glow. Filigree flowers and butterflies drawn in 23-karat gold, hand-painted, form the bridge to the relief. As a small highlight, the sword mark in gold is integrated into the artwork 's decor. The tea dejeuner is limited to 25 pieces.
