As a testimony to outstanding craftsmanship, this vase is one of the "Limited Masterpieces" of the MEISSEN® manufactory.
With the magnificent "Flower Goblet", a historical gem that was first produced between 1710 - 1720 is experiencing a radiant renaissance. For this brilliant new interpretation, designer Lena Hensel combines the formal language of the former silversmith and model maker Jakob Irminger with an extremely precise checkerboard pattern as well as a colorful hand-painted floral carpet. These contrasting design principles of painting combine in a virtuoso manner on the 42 cm high Limited Masterpiece "Flower Goblet" to form an unexpected unity. At the same time, the lid of the icon embodies the two highest disciplines of MEISSEN® craftsmanship - painting and sculpture merge with each other and completely dissolve the boundaries between two- & three-dimensional.
The hand-painted vase "Flower Cup" is produced limited to 20 copies.
