In order to give the sculpture, which was created in 1941, an optimum of expressiveness with his excellent craftsmanship, the artist Alexander Struck has dealt in detail with the historical materials. The figure "Eulenspiegel, white" with masterfully designed body language, facial expressions and gestural expression is a representation of the 28th story of Eulenspiegel. The depiction of the rogue in bell costume with jester's cap holds up a mirror to society. Richly detailed, the sculpture - eponymously - is accompanied by an owl.
