The figurine "Saxonia" is a work of art made of noble white in miniature edition created in 2015. The sculpture's big sister was created by former MEISSEN® chief sculptor Jörg Danielczyk on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of German reunification. At a stately 1.80m, it is the largest free-standing porcelain sculpture in the world. Today you can marvel at the majestic figure in the foyer of the Erlebniswelt Haus MEISSEN®.
Like many artists before him, Danielczyk dealt with the theme of "fashion". For him, it became a captivating and inspiring passion. "Saxonia" is one of the expressive models, which gives a small insight into a great fascination. Made entirely of pure white MEISSEN® porcelain, she proudly presents what is probably the manufactory's most famous decoration: the dreamlike snowball blossoms. A breathtaking work of art full of grace and elegance.
So that you too can enjoy our beautiful sculpture every day, this unique work of art is now available as a handy figurine in radiant white.
