The poinsettia, which is based on traditional Christmas ornaments, is made from Böttger stoneware. This historic material was the first and, before the invention of white hard porcelain, the only material used by the Meissen manufactory. With its calming color, it makes a wonderful Christmas tree decoration or Christmas gift.
