Stylized tulips in sepia painting, a genre with a long tradition at MEISSEN, have been hand-painted for the "Nature Morte" vases on three classic limited edition lidded vases. Similar to a silhouette, the minimalist-looking motif sits on the small work of art. A closer look reveals the artistry of the flower painting. By applying only one color to varying degrees, later color intensities are influenced and the motif is given its plastic depth effect. As a result, a hand-painted, limited to 75 copies small work of art.
