Limited edition and noble addition to any dinner service: this bowl of the form "New Cutout" was designed by Johann Daniel Schöne. The checkerboard pattern goes back to Japanese Imari-style patterns, which were popular for their brocade-like splendor. Artist Nicole Drigalla pre-sketches on porcelain, then precisely hand-paints the porcelain with pen and copper inks in several layers. Accents of pure gold and the sword mark integrated into the decor give the bowl elegance. The playful dissolution of the strict symmetry gives the traditional art a fascinating modernity, hand-painted and a jewel for any dinner service. Limited to 25 pieces.
