Timeless beauty - porcelain figurines as timepieces by Paul Scheurich. The girlish putti nestle against the clock cylinder, lost in reverie. The boy and the girl need all their strength to hold the large, round pendulum clock in the right position. Whereas in earlier MEISSEN clocks the figures were completely subordinate to the case, they are now transformed into the main motifs, while the clock takes on the function of the attribute. This is Scheurich's first chronograph from 1920 and is a limited edition.
