description
The limited edition artwork "Swan Tureen with the Allied Coat of Arms of Count Brühl" is a part of the "Swan Service". Bellied and round, the tureen offers plenty of space for the art of the Meissen bossiers and porcelain painters. A naked nymph sits enthroned as a handle on the hand-painted work of art. The lid of the tureen is completely covered with a shell-like relief, on which the lady is placed with crossed legs on the back of a dolphin. The nymph is attributed to Johann Friedrich Eberlein. But not only mythological figures, also putti could not be missing on a typical baroque dinner service. As handles of the tureen, Eberlein had them ride on fish, from whose mouths spring festoons studded with snails, crabs, shells and flowers. They run around the work of art to the alliance coat of arms of the client Count Brühl, which forms the center.

The hand-painted decorated tureen is limited to 25 pieces.
