The 63 cm high limited edition large figurine "Heron with Fish" from the Meissen Exclusive Collection was created by Meissen's master modeler Johann Joachim Kaendler. The sculpture made of white Meissen porcelain was one of the first animals that the manufactory created as a large figure in the 18th century on behalf of its founder Augustus the Strong. With these works of art, Johann Joachim Kaendler and the manufactory's artists broke new ground. To this day, MEISSEN is regarded as the only manufactory to create such large, limited-edition works of art in porcelain with incomparable craftsmanship and is therefore unsurpassed in its fidelity to reality and accuracy of design in these dimensions.
