The box from 1742 by Joachim Kaendler captivates with its naturalistic depiction of the pepper pod on the lid and almost elevates the valuable spice pepper to a relic. Thus, the pepper on the lid of a box made of MEISSEN® porcelain is the combination of the two most sought-after luxury goods of the 18th century: pepper and porcelain. The various hand-painted floral decorations and the golden border also give it a very elegant look.
The hand-painted box "Pepper" is produced limited to 50 copies.
