Limited Masterworks Dish Fruit and Flower Painting

The artwork of the bowl "Fruit and flower painting" was hand-painted with a decoration in the old manner in copper colors. The mix between strict mosaic surfaces and playful painting of scattered flowers and fruits was a popular design element in the Baroque period - the period of origin of the original form. The historical model for this work of art was once designed in matte brown cooper stoneware, after which the bowl now shines in white porcelain in a limited reissue for the Meissen Masterpieces 2013. In ensemble with a candlestick and a box in the same hand-painted decor, this bowl shines both in sumptuous combination and as a charming stand-alone piece. Each piece in the small collection is available in limited quantities in Meissen Arts and Crafts and represents a special piece of porcelain history. The bowl itself captivates with filigree floral painting in contrast to the opulent gold decoration, which presents the work of art in its center like a frame.
