Hand-painted in underglaze color, Ulrich Mehner immortalizes the fish in its natural environment on the still porous porcelain. The color immediately sinks into the still raw material and cannot be corrected - a technique used for this small limited edition work of art that requires the highest artistic talent and a lot of experience.
