Inspired by the guest performance of "Le Carnaval" at the Theater des Westens in Berlin, Paul Scheurich created his "Russian Ballet" figures. The sculptures of five Russian dancers were his most successful work of art for MEISSEN, although the first. The dancer shows particularly impressive her wavy dress, which consists of several layers and is elaborately hand-painted. The upper part with floral decoration is also finely hand-painted. Paul Scheurich's figure highlights the dancer's natural, almost innocent grace. This limited edition reissue of his artwork with a serene pose, dynamic and weightless, has lost none of its fascination. This sculpture is limited to 25 pieces.
