Monkey Musician Violinist

The "Monkey Musician with Violin" is part of a collection of hand-painted collectible figures by former chief sculptor Peter Strang from 2016, the "Monkey Musicians". The model for these collectible figures is Kaendler's historic "Monkey Band," which was much more colorful and lush compared to the reinterpretation. With Strang's figures, however, the emphasis is on expression. His monkeys are built by hand, completely without model molds, which makes this craft particularly challenging. Afterwards, each figure is hand-painted with only the three primary colors. Thus, each monkey is unique. United with his orchestra colleagues, he is an adorable eye-catcher for collectors and lovers of traditional crafts.
