Mystic Maison

With the charming “Mystic Maison” collection, MEISSEN brings an enchanting selection of the most beautiful influences from past eras to the table, demonstrating an extraordinary flair for art and design. “Mystic Maison” embodies the perfect symbiosis of traditional craftsmanship and modern design. Product designer Lena Hensel and her team deliberately wanted to create something eclectic that is in harmony with MEISSEN's undisputed iconic status and, in combination, pays homage to the diversity of the fine arts. This is how the fabulous decorative world of the “Mystic Maison” collection was created.

“The “Mystic Maison” collection brings festive splendor to your table and is an unmistakable highlight of MEISSEN design expertise.”
  • Majestic and artistic
With the fantastic “Mystic Maison” patterns, a true masterpiece of table art unfolds on the elegant shape N° 41. Harmoniously intertwined meandering bands and floral ornaments wind their way across the porcelain in artistic curves. In addition to magnificent rocaille elements and elegant shells, a world of unique and imaginative mythical creatures - from the winged lioness and bird-like creatures to fish with dragon-like grace - take center stage in this detailed decoration. Emotional and close to nature, with a penchant for the fantastic, just like the works of French sculptor Michel Joseph Napoléon Liénard.

    Exclusive craftsmanship
For over 300 years, MEISSEN porcelain has stood for craftsmanship of the highest perfection - from the raw material to the finished product. Even the porcelain paste - the guarded composition of quartz, feldspar and kaolin - has an inherent magic that comes to full fruition in the skilled hands of numerous craftsmen and women. From shaping and embossing, overglaze and underglaze painting to the final firing - the multitude of different production techniques and art forms are still perfectly mastered today and are the result of centuries of upholding craftsmanship excellence.
