We have put together a few after-work insider tips around Dresden, Meissen and the surrounding area for you and hope that they will provide you with some quality time with your favorite colleagues.

On the one hand, we have the classic - a visit to the Christmas market with bratwurst, mulled wine, roasted almonds, glazed apples and all kinds of other culinary delights. A little Christmas music in the background and plenty of opportunities to browse between candle arches, incense smokers and snow globes. A visit to the Striezelmarkt or the Christmas market at the Frauenkirche in Dresden is well worthwhile. Did you know that the Striezelmarkt in Dresden is not only the oldest Christmas market in Germany (since 1434), but also the most famous in the world? The Meissen Christmas Market in the Old Town also creates a magical atmosphere that invites you and your colleagues to relax. Another insider tip for all those who like things a little more traditional and historical - the medieval market in the Stallhof in Dresden invites you to switch off and relax with a hot tub, hearty food and numerous vendors of goods from historical crafts. If you are looking for a high-quality and special Christmas gifts, you will find them very close to the Frauenkirche in the MEISSEN Signature Store.
The mulled wine meeting - party, hot punch and delicacies
If you simply want to switch off for a few hours after a stressful day at work during Advent and enjoy a nice evening with your colleagues, the after-work party at Carolaschlösschen is the place for you. Every Thursday to Saturday from 18:00 to 23:00, you can enjoy the end of the working day here with magical Christmas decorations and a fantastic view of the lake.

For anyone who appreciates tradition and masterful craftsmanship, a visit to our porcelain manufactory is also worthwhile during the Christmas season. Experience the magic of Advent at MEISSEN and visit our Christmas adventure world together with your colleagues. Every Tuesday during Advent, the MEISSEN Store opens from 5 to 8 p.m. and invites you to enjoy exclusive Advent shopping in a peaceful atmosphere. Look over the shoulders of our artisans and experience how Christmas items are created in Meissen porcelain.
If you would like to get creative yourself, you can create and paint your very own work of art with us. Design your own piece of MEISSEN porcelain, for example a Vide-Poche for €34 instead of €39 or a mug for €59 instead of €69.
