A Christmas symphony for your festive table #festivemeissen
  • Enjoying a meal together with friends and family does well. It makes us happy and is - scientifically proven - even healthy! Shared meals strengthen family bonds, create closeness and enhance the feeling of social inclusion. This is particularly evident on Christmas Eve. For many people, this feast of love is a highlight. All over the world, the most delicious Christmas dishes are conjured up on the table to spoil the loved ones. The tables are festively decorated to create an atmospheric Christmas feeling. However, the focus is not on the food alone, but equally on the people with whom we share the precious moment. To cherish this tradition is all the more important in times when there is a snack bar on every corner, when restaurants tempt us with countless fast food offers and when more and more people are eating alone.
Make your Christmas dinner something very special! Create the setting for an unforgettable Christmas experience with your loved ones with an enchantingly arranged table.

"Where love sets the table, the food tastes best".
(French saying)
  • A particularly noble ambience is provided by mixing and matching our "Royal Blossom" and "Noble Blue" services. Both decors have in common, that they combine craftsmanship, tradition and the history of MEISSEN with modern, functional elegance in a unique way.
The "Snowball Blossom" presents itself as truly royal and is still one of the outstanding iconic decors in the art of Meissen porcelain art. Originally designed by Johann Joachim Kaendler at the behest of Augustus the Strong, the decoration of the "Snowball Blossom" was reinterpreted for the "Royal Blossom" collection on the purist "N°41" service shape and implemented as a sculptural pattern on the brilliant white porcelain. Each blossom is placed individually and by hand in the plaster moulds with a small stamp. The finished moulds are used for a maximum of 40 casts so that the relief of each porcelain piece has the same fine structure and feel.

The "Noble Blue" dinner service sets discrete colour accents and is a modern adaptation of the "Blue Onion", the most successful blue decor in porcelain history. What appears to be "onions" are actually peaches and pomegranates - symbols of fertility and long life. The fact that the drawings are reminiscent of our root vegetables is solely due to the lack of detailed models at the time. A characteristic feature of the "Noble Blue" decor is the use of the manufactory's own cobalt blue, which is complemented by filigree details in bright red and discreet gold finishes - colours that have always been among the classic Christmas colours and therefore predestine the service especially for the festive Christmas table. "Noble Blue" also uses the modern "N°41" shape and is dishwasher-safe. Therefore, you are spared the hassle of washing the dishes by hand after Christmas dinner.

A little tip: It looks particularly festive if you decorate the table with eucalyptus and holly branches with red berries. Simply arrange them in the centre of the dining table and decorate them with pine cones and small pendants made of Meissen porcelain. And if you like it particularly harmonious: Matching the table services there are Christmas bells and tree baubles with "Royal Blossom" and "Noble Blue" decorations. This will definitely make your festive dinner an experience for all the senses!
