“Mystic Maison” - Magical moments for the festive table #allbeautiful
The beauty of this world is revealed in countless facets - be it in the intricate details of architectural masterpieces, in the lines of great art or in the emotional depth of romantic works. Every epoch, every culture has produced its own gems and icons that are so magnificent that we admire them to this day. Just think of the majestic opulence of the Baroque, the simple elegance of Classicism or the dreamy sensuality of Romanticism.
With the “Mystic Maison” collection, MEISSEN brings an enchanting selection of the most beautiful influences from past eras to the table, demonstrating an extraordinary flair for art and design. Product designer Lena Hensel and her team deliberately wanted to create something eclectic that is in harmony with MEISSEN's undisputed iconic status and, in combination, pays homage to the diversity of the fine arts. This is how the pattern world of the “Mystic Maison” collection was created, which Hensel describes as a fantastic palace lined with columns and ornaments from different eras - each detail tells its own story, a collage of styles and shapes that form a harmonious whole. Like an architectural quotation from the past - reinterpreted and presented in a fascinating context.
“The decor elements of the fantastic “Mystic Maison” tableware collection are like a mystical journey to the most beautiful works of art from past eras.” Lena Hensel
With the imaginative “Mystic Maison” patterns, a true masterpiece of table art unfolds on the elegant shape N° 41. Harmoniously intertwined meandering bands and floral ornaments wind their way across the porcelain in artistic curves.
In addition to magnificent rocaille elements and elegant shells, a world of unique and imaginative mythical creatures - from the winged lioness and bird-like creatures to fish with dragon-like grace - take center stage in this detailed decoration. Emotional and close to nature, with a penchant for the fantastic, just like the works of French sculptor Michel Joseph Napoléon Liénard.
In addition to the ornaments and mythical creatures, the collection also impresses with a fantastic color palette. This captures the opulent richness of the Baroque in deep tones such as ruby red and antique gold, while soft, velvety backgrounds in mint green and rosé add a touch of romance. The combination of these colors and shapes creates an atmosphere of timeless elegance and sophistication, making it the perfect eye-catcher for any festive occasion.
The beauty of different eras, masterfully combined. With its rich, opulent pattern and festive colors, the “Mystic Maison” tableware collection invites you and your loved ones to experience, enjoy and celebrate the many facets of worldly happiness together. Every festive get-together becomes a luxurious and elegant highlight and a precious, unforgettable memory.
